Granny Mae's Wit & Wisdom! |

We know that dealing with Alzheimer's is serious business. It's a devasting disease that seriously affects not only the person who has it, but also their family and friends, and its effect can last for years. We also know that sometimes what helps people get through a difficult day is a little humor. A little humor can also help get attention when you're trying to create awareness about something. |

Hi, My name is Granny Mae! |

I really enjoy sharin' these with you all and I hope you enjoy 'em too! I'll be addin' more from time-to-time so please come back again (I've got lots more stories where these came from and I'm polishin' the good ones!) I'd also like to ask for your help. Alzheimer's is a terrible disease and I think about it often... everyone my age does. I'd love to have you join me and become a Champion, or at least buy a CD to help out. I have my own Champions team! You can join me here or at least stop by and pick up a CD or two. My sincerest appreciation, Granny Mae |

Granny Mae is a good friend to many people and is quite the storyteller! She shared a few funny stories over dinner one night so we asked her if she'd use her humor to help bring attention to Life in the Years. She loved the idea and was happy to help! She has lots of quips, quotes and wisdom to share and hopes to keep enlightening the world for years to come! For those of you who got here from one of her emails, you know how much she appreciates them. She's always happy to share a thought or two! If you have a short story or saying you think Granny Mae should add here just email it to her and maybe she'll include it! Here are some of the stories she shared with us over dinner. If you enjoy them please share them with your friends to help Granny Mae bring visibility to Life in the Years! |
